Richard Newton has been in the wedding industry for over 10 years.  A former hotel executive, he opened Atelier Weddings in 2004. 
Richard is a featured expert on Wedding Aces, one of the industries' top online communities, as well as on his own blog, www.weddingskinny.com.  He is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.

In 2006 Richard created Vow Fragrance.  It was featured in InStyle Weddings, Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style and many other publications, and was named by Bride Magazine as one of the top bridal products of 2006.

Richard grew up in Los Angeles, Paris and Switzerland.  He lives in Manhattan with his wife and daughter.  They were married in 1997 by original MTV video jockey and podcast creator Adam Curry (www.curry.com, www.podshow.com).
